bathroom was a challenge. It is so TINY and there was no room to expand it in any direction.
So I did all the walls in glass tile to actually keep it less busy.
When you walk into this bathroom it's like walking into a jewerly box.

We are trying to have our builder design a shampoo/ soap holder space like this and she is asking how to build the shelf inbetween.. is that a piece of tile you have placed in there? or what is the shelf in there and how did you build that in?

remodeling a 139 year old, small house in Downtown Boulder, Co. I am planning the same type of look in the Master Bath (with tumbled subway tiles and tumbled chair rail). It will extend around the sink vanity and over to the toilet space, similar to this. I need to know the height, that would be very helpful
to find all tiles aside from the thin border tiles. Do you recall the stone used? How about the size (ie 1x6)? Do you know maker or were they special cut? Thanks in advance!
