Who made the windows? Is it milgard? are they vinyl or fiberglass?
Can the frosted vinyl be used on glass shpwer doors ?
I'm struggling with the inverse for a renovation...72inch double sink vanity, with window in the middle and mirror on either side. I can't decide if it works...
obscure glass on the bottom? Does obscure glass let in the light? Thank you. I am thinking of using it for a bathroom window that faces a neighbor's house which we currently have a venetan blind on but it is mostly closed and gets dusty.
You might try contacting a shower door company to see if they can use vinyl.
O.K. It looks like regular privacy glass, but I thought I read something in the comment thread about it being vinyl, and leaving no residue, so I then thought it might be some sort of product that adhered to existing clear glass.??

Master Bathroom
Hello! Can you tell me if you use aluminum or brass channels to hold the shower glass panels? I am doing a steam shower with polished nickel hardware and don't know if I should spend the extra money for polished nickel coated brass channels or if aluminum with a polished nickel finish is ok. Also

that moisture will get behind the tin and cause problems. How can this be done without worrying about moisture problems behind the tin? It's an old house with tongue & groove wall boards; I planned to put tile backer on the shower walls just as I would if putting ceramic tile up. Can you steer me in the

Kerdi. The slab, and stoneware tile are also set in some deep recesses with urethane. The exterior is aluminum siding, like the rest of the house, and I applied some roofing membrane before the siding was patched and before the window went in for the last time. There is a lot of redundancy. Shower water
was pretty sure neither the interior nor the exterior would be a problem. Finally, wood windows are not OK in shower stalls. But, PVC plastic or aluminum are not easy to glue Kerdi fabric on to either. I am advised Epoxy can work with PVC (PVC window parts are "welded" together) but I haven't found
found an epoxy yet which sticks long term. If anybody out there has a clear marine epoxy they use on plastic windows, please let me know. Aluminum seems to adhere to urethane caulk, pretty well. Feel free to look me up in Brooklyn to discuss this if you like.

can I use a frameless sliding glass door, with one side fixed with this design?
year and this is the first time I have actually been inspired to do a double vanity in our family bathroom. This bathroom works so well! The whole house is a real inspiration - well done!
Exterior doors keep rain from entering the house, and thresholds drain to outside. My question is how do you keep the door waterproof from both the outside and the inside? Thank you
Hi. In those situations we often use an aluminum grille made by Titus. They have a type of frame that has a minimal flange that can be set with the tile as opposed to a wider flange that site over
Good question. It helps that the door is all aluminum. If any water gets past the line of caulk between tile and door frame, there is flashing that will carry it out to the exterior. In reality, the shower

Metal windows. In this case, powder coated aluminum.
The plastic or vinyl version is more suitable if the tile is white and near a wet environment. Either way, it is paintable. However, depending on how far you want to take
Thanks so much. Was it vinyl or metal?
