bathrooms. There's no reason to find an alternative when it's going in the bathroom, but if you must you could look at quartzite. It's a natural, quarried stone that is harder than granite, but tends to look like marble.

building a home with ivory cabs and not sure how I will like the look, because I but really like the classic, pure white casings, moldings, built-ins, fireplace surround, etc. Ugh. I'm stumped!

have that information. The designer did not leave anything for us. I do however think that the Cabinet color is similar to Dove White. Perhaps a stone manufacturer would be able to look at the photo to find the color.
Like the cabinets...they morrow some of the architecture of the fireplace.
