why put a lamp near a sink--electrical issues, esp. w/wet hands & children's bathroom?
Gorgeous bathroom! Where can I find that lamp and shade?
I love this lamp and could use it elsewhere in my home. Would you tell me where you bought it ?
The lamp was from Home Goods. Cheers!
A lamp is no different than a blow dryer plugged in a bathroom. With GFCI and Arc fault breakers I think the bathroom is safe.
Remember, lamps can be snuck in nearly anywhere with an outlet. If you feel your bathroom vanity could use a little extra glow, accessorize it with a table lamp. Keep it on during parties so guests can easily locate the bathroom.

The children share a bathroom upstairs. “When we couldn’t find the right pieces in light-colored wood, we had the chests on either side of the sink custom made,” says Koldeway. “The hardware makes them look like old library pieces.” The bathroom has two styles of tile. “The penny tile in back of the

little hands to work. Select pulls in sizes and shapes that are easy for tiny fingers to grip and operate. Smaller drawers and doors also are good for children, since they don't take as much strength to pull. 10. Select locking mechanisms with care.Locking drawers or doors should be used for any cleaners
make sure the bathroom door can be unlocked from both sides or doesn't lock at all. And speaking of doors, lever-style handles are much easier for children than round door knobs. Heck, they're easier for everybody!

Child-like art. Children's art is a fun choice for the bath. In this bright white room, it adds a fun burst of color. All that seems to be missing from the image is a yellow rubber ducky.Upon closer inspection, I'm not so sure these were actually done by children though. What do you think?
Make a bold choice to celebrate your children's artwork and give it a place of prominence.
Children love painting on stretched canvas. A picture rail offers a great way to display art in a modern, minimalistic way.
