part of the renovations. When he had to decommission the old electrical panel during construction, he didn’t want the new one junking up the design. He showed off the old connectors in the space just above the mirror and hid the new electric panel in the wall. It’s accessed by removing the mirror frame

MillerMany of us peruse the gorgeous bathrooms on Houzz, daydreaming about miles of new marble tiles, freestanding bathtubs that are worth more than our cars and light fixtures that cost two months’ salary. Questions101
Is it possible to put electric outlets in cabinets w/hairdryers etc.?
You rough the wire where the cabinet will go. Remove the drawer. Cut in an outlet using a shallow electric box. Flex conduit is used on the wire and fastened along the back. Drawer will function because on most cabinets full extension drawers are inside
Thank you , I really appreciate the quick response. I am looking to do the same thing but as it stands, the electricity for the lights are lower so the builder said the mirror would be 33" above the counter. I think that is too low. Thoughts?
We did a modified version of this and had to use 9" wide trim boards for the lights, but my sconces are 5.5" wide so that's okay. We also have our electrical in the backsplash, but I like the placement of these better. We also put an outlet in one upper drawer so that I could leave my hair dryer plugged
