the posts cut so that when the pieces were threaded together and tightened, the length was SHORTER than the distance between countertop and ceiling. I then attached toilet flanges on both ends of the posts to create a "finished" and industrialized look and to keep the threaded ends of the posts from
attached to the connector fitting and can be rotated on the post. All totaled, the cost of the post was around $250.00 for parts and plating. I installed the piece myself so labor was free. :) There is another identical vanity and mirror (with post) on the opposite side of the room which created a nice
fix. Originally, I had three stainless steel fabricators give me an estimate to have this post made and each came around $2,000 each! Ridiculous!! I found the parts I needed at my local hardware store (the posts and connectors) and had them "threaded" so I could screw the parts together. (The hardware

No questions, just a kudos. Far too many designers/architects on Houzz are far too proprietary about the designs they post on a public forum...Or completely ignore questions all together. Building a house in Austin TX. Trying to get basic answers to "what's the tile" from

I,m in California and I cannot locate the tile :( Exceptional bath BTW ... thank you for posting this!
Why would you post a photo of such a nice bathroom but refuse to answer any Houzz questions about it?
Why dont people scroll through previous questions /answers before posting? This poor guy has answered similar questions over and over!! For those interested in a tub/shower glass screen which swings in and out, try Ark.
lorelai I recently purchased a half glass door from a local glass manufacturer in VA. Love the look! The door does swing out for entry and access to water and cleaning and bathing kids etc. I didn't put a knob or handle on because I like the clean look. a knob can be added later after

Can't find where you posted about the wall color....
Can you please give the wall color? I know you said to look through prior posts, but I can't find it. Thank you!!!
I am mounting one over the toilet, maybe a little lower than the one in the picture at the top of this page. Another one is going to be near the entry door, so will be mounted very high, so no one can hit it with their head.

I posted a new picture of this bathroom in the "San Francisco Floating Home" album
case, we used tung oil on Australian Cypress which is rot-resistant to mold/mildew problems. The shower doors source has be given in earlier Houzz posts which is American Shower doors in Commerce City, Los Angeles.
Awesome shower door. Wonder if this could be a wall with frosted glass, shower on one side. Two way entry. Could be sweet.
