John, They were Color Kinetics Powercore white LED strips. Not near as bright as it looks because digital cameras have a hard time dealing with LED light
take your own shot. Take the image to a sign company have them print out any size you like, have it laminated, or you could even cover with a clear sheet of plastic or glass, if you don’t want to hold with screws, you could just add trim around it. Backlighting can also be done if you have the sign company
behind and depending on how much of a void, we would have chosen an appropriate light source. In a shallow void, you might have needed an LED light sheet and if there was a deep void, it could have been done with linear strips. This was never our intent with this slab. Thx.
