a useless appendage, to expand the dining room and to create a new family room. Large openings connect rooms as well as the garden, while allowing spacial definition. Additional renovations included updating the kitchen and master bath, as well as creating a formal office paneled in stained cherry wood

the trim on top of the wainscotting, is this an actual chair rail?
I like the horizontal spacing of the boxes, It's got nice clean lines and looks good in this space. Would probably like it in the dining room as well. NOTE THE CHAIR RAIL! Looks like the top is the furthest out, not the center...

Master Bath Remodel
When I walk into my house, the first thing you see is the back side of my kitchen cabinets because my living room, dining room, and kitchen is an open floor plan. I am looking for ideas to spruce it up without spending a lot of money.
endless for fabric to make one and then as far as a window treatment is concerned again depends...this bath looks very formal to me so I would do more of a formal roman shade and a formal shower cutain.
above picture with builder grade white cabinets (eek). I really like the look of a burnt roman shade color but the sure if this would go with the formality of this space. Also, I love the PB pear embroidered shower curtain. Thanks
