white does this make the room look bigger?hard to keep clean

I am really wanting to do beadboarding from floor to ceiling, but I want wider-plank beadboard - is this hard to find?? Would that look not go with a small bathroom? It is slightly narrow at about 6' but it is long.
it was installed in 1992 and was expensive back then... around 1/2 the price it is today, but no vanity was necessary and 20 years later it still looks great.
