Hi Tiffany- I LOVE everything you do!! I am doing a bathroom that is all white (statuary white floor, white thassos shower walls, soft white marble counter top) with polished nickel finishes. I am concerned that decorators white paint
Could you tell me what size statuary wall tile was used in the shower area and what smaller size was used for the shower floor? Thanks
statuary tile was used.....I believe it was 4 x 12
no, this wasnt carrara....if u look in the mirror, you will see the shower walls, which is statuary....much more vibrant and contrasting than carrara....countertop is the same
standard white. Doesn't sound too exciting but it's a very clean crisp white which worked beautifully with all the mirrored details as well as the statuary slabs that were used....
http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/bianco-carrara.html I have included a picture of Staturio (Statuary). And you can see the white base and broad veining that statuary offers. It is far more dramatic. This is Statuary marble. The finer veining grayer base is Bianco Carrara.
I would actually suggest this is a Carrara Bianco. The format is either 12x24" or 8x16" Honed. Not a Statuary, it may have been called a Statuary at the point of sale but this looks too much like Bianco Carrara. I have attached pictures of Carrara Bianco 12x24": http://www

Is this statuary or corera marble?
Statuary Marble is basically Cararra's sister, they are mined in the same place in Italy. You can usually tell the who apart because Statuary usually has a brighter white background with more distinctive grey veining, where
Cararra since overall it seems to have a bit more grey going on and looks a bit more consistent.
