This Condo has been in the family since it was first built. And it was in desperate need of being renovated. The kitchen was isolated from the rest of the condo. The laundry space was an old pantry that was converted. We needed to open up the kitchen to living space to make the space feel larger. By changing the entrance to the first guest bedroom and turn in a den with a wonderful walk in owners closet. Then we removed the old owners closet, adding that space to the guest bath to allow us to make the shower bigger. In addition giving the vanity more space. The rest of the condo was updated. The master bath again was tight, but by removing walls and changing door swings we were able to make it functional and beautiful all that the same time.

Much like a Monet painting, this floral mosaic crafted with jet cut blue celeste marble, Carrara marble, and pearly river shell surely sets the mood and provides a strong identity for this space. To add to the experience a rainshower head was installed. What makes this shower refreshing and clean? Blue and white! Thassos marble accentuated with blue celeste marble details gives that crisp clean classic look. The shower floor is a more functional celeste blue—instead of the white—while the main floor is a beautiful basket weave. Yes, wainscot walls of white Thassos marble finish the room in a classic way complete with marble baseboard and chair rail. Designer: Charlotte Tully LEED Green Assoc., UDCP Photographer: CasaMokio (Nate Lewis) Being that the undersized master bathroom was adjacent to an underused walk-in closet; a reconfiguration of layout was implemented. Shifting of walls allows the minimized clothing storage to be accessed from inside the bathroom, while a custom pull-out matching the cabinetry offers ample medication storage specific to needs. Full Home Renovation and Addition. Industrial Artist Style. We removed most of the walls in the existing house and create a bridge to the addition over the detached garage. We created an very open floor plan which is industrial and cozy. Both bathrooms and the first floor have cement floors with a specialty stain, and a radiant heat system. We installed a custom kitchen, custom barn doors, custom furniture, all new windows and exterior doors. We loved the rawness of the beams and added corrugated tin in a few areas to the ceiling. We applied American Clay to many walls, and installed metal stairs. This was a fun project and we had a blast! Tom Queally Photography
