We have a half wall that will separate my craft area from the kids playroom. The top part of the wall is light gray (but looks light blue), the bottom of the wall is dark gray. I'm undecided on making the top to bottom ombré (shades of gray) or just leaving the colors as

That is a VERY difficult question to answer, as there are a million combinations that work, and probably
backsplash. You have to coordinate the parts so that they work together. In this case, the backsplash was high enough to accept the wall mounted filler. We've done projects with the top of the backsplash set below the filler, and it worked out well! Generally we set the top to 42". This one was set

find one of a kind vintage treasures. This iron and beaded glass chandelier was found at a local antiques shop. You can probably find something similar at your local antique or vintage resale shop. Good luck!
