Gorgeous master bath! Wish you were located in California so we can hire you. Could you recommend a shower tile that would match the wall and floor tiles shown here? Thank you for the inspiration!
marble chair rail. You would need tile adhesive, trowel, grout, sponge, and a wet saw to miter the corners. It would be highly recommended to hire a professional tiler for such projects. Best regards, BiglarKinyan Design Toronto.
It is the same tiles as the floors. The tiler cut them at 4" high.
right, the Foremost is rather non-discrete! :) I also agree that Toto makes one of the best toilets these days. We specify them for the majority of our projects.

bead of acrylic caulk was added to the transition between the tile and the wood to allow for expansion and contraction of the wood. The carpenter and tiler were one and the same. This approach does work in larger spaces: http://www.houzz.com/projects/324312/Huron-Ave-Bathroom
like a small space. We are wondering what the room dimensions are as we are struggling with our own small space.
THANK YOU for sharing! You just saved us! I have been searching for a small sink for our bathroom and this is the perfect size!!

Can I hire your firm to create this bathroom in my home
Absolutely stunning. We are thinking of using large format tiles on our walk-in shower floor. Our tile installer has cautioned against it because it's harder to create the proper drain slope. How did you overcome this? Aesthetically
Hello, I think the floating marble bench looks absolutely stunning. We are looking to have a floating bench installed in our (soon to be) new shower stall. Was just hoping you would be able to shed some light as to how this was constructed and installed. Thank you, David
We're thinking of doing just that (with marble) in our new master bath which is also very large, but was worried it would be too much/matchy. Advice?

Sorry, we don't have that information in our job file. I recommend hiring a licensed plumber to install these types of shower systems. And, a qualified plumber will know all local codes.
Yes, you would have to remove tiles in order to make the above modification. They key is "hire a professional to perform". Best of luck.
and was curious. I'm sure many of the existing tiles would have to be cut and removed as well as part of the floor I'm assuming. Clearly a job I would hire a professional to perform. Thanks for the input!

I think this bathtub http://edezeen.com/categories/bathroom/bathtubs/cala.html is similar with this one from the picture
Our home plan has a free standing tub (for me!) and a nice size shower (for my husband). We haven't broken ground....but will soon. Is it a major challenge to combine the 2. Our MB is a nice size. The tub and the shower on the the same side

The Tiler used a 1/2" thick 12 x 12" tile, then cut it down to the size. Daltile or other local (Austin) tile suppliers have different sizes and shades of Leuders
indeed it is not polished. A simple water sealer is used. The surface is not slippery when wet in this application but best to work with an experienced Tiler if that is your concern.
You are most welcome, and glad you are interested in our work!
Hi, the shower bench was made by our trim carpenter. It is cypress, and sits on two steel supports that were anchored in the wall.

I'd be grateful to know how your tiler did this -- the tile is so nicely integrated with the bath tub! I assume it is a drop in tub. Did the tiler build an apron and tile all the way up to the lip of the tub? Many thanks!
The single bathroom in our bungalow is a bugaboo indeed, so I am salivating over this example. Look how wall space that normally goes unused has been put to super use.
