“our walk-in shower floor. Our tile installer has cautioned against it because it's harder to create the proper drain slope. How did you overcome this? Aesthetically, I'd rather use the same size tiles in the entire shower rather than using a mosaic size on the floor as he suggests.”

“subway tile in the shower, but the folks at the tile center said that shower fixtures cannot be mounted directly onto that type of tile because there will be gaps. Clearly the fixtures in this photo are mounted on the beveled tile. Can you please help me with this issue?”

“finished in semi-gloss paint. There are some awesome porcelain tiles that mimic carrara or calacatta gold, try Stone Source in Chicago or The Tile Gallery in Chicago. This room i sfinished in a vinyl wall covering that has some subtle texture - a paint will not give you the same look and feel. Best of luck”
