Step-Up TubsRaised tubs with small stairs leading up to them almost have a throne-like feel. This one has a wooden frame with an insert. Depending on what style surround you decide on, this is generally the more economical way to go. Many mainstream manufacturers make similar tubs.

Cast iron tubs hold temperatures much like a thermos. When they are cold, it takes awhile to heat them up. But once they are warm, it takes a long time for
sorry for the delay in answering - yes, those are both common issues with clawfoot tubs. It is recommended to preheat cast iron tubs with hot kettle water - I believe it helps!

Cant tell the brand of the tub, but I can tell you that it's a cast-iron traditional rolled rim tub, with a tub wall mounted gooseneck faucet. We do carry this style of tub and faucet on our website if interested.

Cast iron tubs are quite heavy and suitable only for houses. Unless one is original to your building, steer clear of it in an apartment or condo.

Closet to Bathroom Conversion
bathroom to be about 4' wide x 10' long (it was formerly a storage closet under stairs to a third floor).
The wall tile is by Adex U.S.A, from the Hampton Collection, 3x6 subway & Crown Molding #2 for the chair rail. The floor tile is a mosaic sheet tile in Carrera Marble.
Found some old notes on this bathroom renovation: size of bathroom is 36"W x 12'3"L; height of tile to chair rail is 47", size of shower area is 36"W x 54"L (height to ceiling is 9'6").
mount the towle rail above toilet-maybe...not sure how hygenic that would be...
