Table lamp and piece of furniture. Love the elegant look. Chandelier with cans
is full of unexpected details, from the antique dresser to the table lamp, the chandelier to the elegant stool.

Do feel free to break the rules. It’s not common to see table lamps in the bathroom, which is what makes them all the more interesting as a lighting accessory.
N’hésitez pas à enfreindre les règles. On utilise rarement des lampes à pied dans une salle de bains, et c’est précisément ce qui rend cet accessoire si original et intéressant.

Bare the bulb. The humble lightbulb, or lamp, as the lighting professionals refer to it, is worthy of celebration. Too often we work hard to conceal this essential component. While the bare bulb may not be appropriate for every space, it is in this bathroom. This is a place where lighting one’s face
face is essential and the omnidirectional light from the exposed lamp works well. Now that legislation has forced the phase-out of inefficient incandescent bulbs, new emphasis has been placed on designing CFL bulbs that are aesthetically pleasing. The bulbs shown here are made by Plumen, in London, and are

use lamp instead of wall mount sconces
the small mirror did to the optical illusion of the lamp!!!!
This guest bath is designed with a marble top counter and a beautiful lamp with an alabaster shade. Amanda didn't miss a single detail when creating this lovely bath for the owner's daughter. She even included bars of soap embellished with the daughter's monogram.

Traditional Bathroom
Gorgeous bathroom! Where can I find that lamp and shade?
I love this lamp and could use it elsewhere in my home. Would you tell me where you bought it ?
why put a lamp near a sink--electrical issues, esp. w/wet hands & children's bathroom?
The lamp was from Home Goods. Cheers!
A lamp is no different than a blow dryer plugged in a bathroom. With GFCI and Arc fault breakers I think the bathroom is safe.
love a lamp in a bathroom
Lamp in the bathroom - interesting
Remember, lamps can be snuck in nearly anywhere with an outlet. If you feel your bathroom vanity could use a little extra glow, accessorize it with a table lamp. Keep it on during parties so guests can easily locate the bathroom.

If you do a Google search of 'Vintage brass pharmacy floor lamps', it produces a lot. They are pretty expensive though. Urbanoutfitters is a place to check for some similar looks for less.
Lamp, chair, foot stool and mirror
my favorite things: reading and bathing. I love how the vintage floor lamp lets someone read through the wee hours, preferably after an equally relaxing and lengthy soak in the tub.
A Louis XV-inspired chair and a pharmacy lamp placed next to a soaking tub add class and functionality to a bathroom
