Traditional Bathroom
This is my girls' bathroom. I love the dark charcoal walls with all the bright white. The floor tiles were inexpensive stock tiles from one of the big box home improvement stores, and the cabinet was designed by me and built by my carpenter.
faucets are those? I am designing my master bath similar to this. The look is new and old nicely combined.
Can you tell me how thick the marble is? I'm thinking about using 2cm in my bathroom and am wondering if this
Looks Great!! What material did you use for the Bead-board Wainscoting? Is it hardboard, PVC, or wood?
I absolutely love the floors, and am thinking about doing the same for my bathrooms. In all honesty though, are they a pain-in-the-neck to keep clean? Do I need to be committed to sweeping/mopping them every day? Thanks, you

What is the actual size of the shower? Wondering if I could replicate it in my remodel. LOVE IT! Thanks.
Interested in knowing the dimensions of the shower and possibly some design help customizing to my space.
where do I go to access my idea book?
Yes, that is how I do my clients benches, framed the wrapped with cement board (I also use a rubber membrane around the seat), then tile.

feet (hard to tell from pic). So... at 16$ / sq foot, you might START at $3000 for the tiles alone, you'll need a carpenter to do the seat, and green board. That also doesn't include the bull nose tiles you need to trim. You don't necessarily need a bull nose with tile this nice. The cut edge is very

We have come out with a board form tile that was inspired by cast in place board form concrete. For those of us who don't have the fortune of casting in place
Yes... it is board formed concrete with a wider gap between boards to get the more pronounced seams and texture.
I suppose you could use this pattern on the floor using wood boards to create the pattern when the concrete is still wet but it would
The wall is a board-formed concrete (it is a retaining wall) and the floor is black slate. We held the boards apart about a 3/4" to get the pronounced horizontal texture where the concrete seeped out during the pour

I've been looking for ways to incorporate repurposed doors in my designs. Turning a door into a giant chalkboard is a great idea.
paint the door with chalk board paint
Door painted in black chalk board
chalk board old doors downstairs - do it in a cool color - put in a location for people to write their ideas down (ie bathroom)
Create a captain's message board on the inside of your door. You and your kids can leave each other messages. I would write, "From your Captain: Spit toothpaste in the sink, not near

I've made the mistake of having my tub tile installed while searching for the floor tile. As much as I like the matte black & white hexagonal penny tile, it's not a true white next to my tub tile. Only the gloss floor tile seems to be available in an ice white
I love how you transitioned from beadboard to tile. Is that a bullnose edge? I wasn't sure how to join the two in my bath and I think yours looks wonderful
white if you don't see the tub tile (could leave the shower curtain pulled most of the time), or stay true to the same white and go with the glossy tile? My tub and pedestal sink are true white also. Thinking of warm grey grout. Please help! Thanks so much!!
