very good use of small space and nice decor
Suppose we couldn't do this in our space - have the "open" shower like that....

Tile framed mirror
Tight spaces require creative solutions. An off-the-shelf mirrored medicine cabinet is dressed up with a tiled picture frame. Pull-out hardware provides easy access to storage in a narrow deep space.

decrease walkways and crowd the bath. There's also a number of things to consider when designing a tub deck. You'll need space for your tub filler and room to operate the handles. If space is tight, depending on the size of the brim you have on a drop in tub, you can mount your filler directly onto the tub
used a drop-in/deck-mounted tub, the brim of which takes up some of the deck space. We needed to be sure to leave ample room around all 4 sides. Bathroom with Japanese inspired shower/tub space
Bathroom with Japanese inspired shower/tub space
in our hotel rooms in Japan. Our bathroom is long and narrow (5' x 11'). This layout allowed us to do both a shower stall and a tub in a contained space. The benefit we have found is that it makes the shower stall feel very spacious, without sacrificing the option to take a bath. The sink is a very
