**Project Overview** This new custom home is filled with personality and individual touches that make it true to the owners' vision. When creating the guest bath, they wanted to do something truly unique and a little bit whimsical. The result is a custom-designed furniture piece vanity in a custom royal blue finish, as well as matching mirror frames. **What Makes This Project Unique?** The clients had an image in their minds and were determined to find a place for it in their new custom home. Their love of bold blue and this unique style led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind piece. The room is bathed in natural light, and the use of light colors in the tile to complement the brilliant blue, help ensure that the space remains light, airy and welcoming. **Design Challenges** Because this furniture piece doesn't start with a standard vanity, our biggest challenge was simply determining what pieces we could draw upon from a semi-custom custom cabinet line. This Crystal bathroom features a Palo Alto door style which is unique with its slightly arched mitered frame. Fawn stain on maple wood gives this a bath an elegant feel with all the light colored tile work. Bereson pulls on the cabinets in a soft brushed nickel finish featuring a slight arc finish the look of this magnificent bath remodel. It's amazing how a little detail goes a long way in a small space. This client needed a new tub with a place to store items like soap and shampoo, so we pulled the tub away from the wall and built a little shelf for her items. Unlike some recessed shower niches, this shelf can easily be accessed while soaking or standing. You will see in other photos from this project that we repeated this feature at the sink vanity as well.

These young hip professional clients love to travel and wanted a home where they could showcase the items that they've collected abroad. Their fun and vibrant personalities are expressed in every inch of the space, which was personalized down to the smallest details. Just like they are up for adventure in life, they were up for for adventure in the design and the outcome was truly one-of-kind. Photos by Chipper Hatter
