Hello, I love your idea of the rocks under the vanity. I would like to know what did u put under the rocks? Thank you, Antonina
There was cement board installed/ continued and a waterproofing membrane was applied (black finish). Rocks are loose.

I like this idea for an outside shower, use some rock for a wall or two.
Sacks bring a splash of color to the otherwise stone-dominated shower space. A basalt bench for shower supplies is built into the lava rock wall. Like the lava rock, this material is very hard-wearing. More home tours: Houzz Tour: A Modern Mexican Paradise Escape to the Tropics Houzz Escape: Headed

you a couple of times. I am patterning my new master bath after your design which I love. Could you tell me if you painted the walls above the backsplash and sides of the vanity or are they tiled? I can't tell from the photo. Also, I notice in other parts of the bath, the walls are tiled. Are the

What is underneath the rock areas? An older tile floor? How is maintenance/cleaning done? How well does a room like this handle a wet underfloor does the rock and wood planks need to be removed once in a while to check for water

Can you please tell me who makes the stainless steel pebble backsplash/where I can get it?
This river rock tile is pretty cool...think it could be nice in a kitchen

Using more than one metal tile pattern on the wall creates a dramatic look. This bathroom has a polished river rock tile on the bottom and a brushed tile on the top. It looks as if the wall has been dipped into water.
Consider a silver backsplash behind the faucet. It will make the faucet seem to disappear, leaving the sink and vanity as the focal point.
