Hi Sally, I am no kitchen expert but the rule we followed for ours (pictured elsewhere in this project) is that the kitchen sink, range and refrigerator should form a triangle. Here is a Wikipedia article giving the details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitchen_work_triangle
exterior window, there is plenty of light in there during day time. Fixtures (bath/toilet) are white. Counter surfaces (that you barely see in the picture) are made of very pale beige ceramic tiles, also brightening the interior. Three PAR-38 floods in the wooden ceiling light up the interior. Hope this
great idea for a door between dining room and kitchen with little or no swing room and block walls that would prohibit a pocket door.
