We don't have space for the thick deck most drop-in tubs have, so we like your slim design, being able to put tile instead of the unsightly apron most tubs come with.

Similar space to my bathroom. Has storage space!
Where there is not space, there can be light (if you are lucky). It always makes a small space feel more expansive.

Just curious: Was this a purely aesthetic design decision, or a creative solution to a floor-space solution?

The bathroom is ~ 72" x 90" -- not excluding the closet protruding into the space next to the toilet. It was a difficult area to work with, but a good challenge-- and proof you can do a lot with a very small space! Fyi, we used a round toilet by Kohler, not elongated, as they add much more room
Thanks you. Is it possible to fit a toilet, vanity and shower into a 6x6 space?
About 6' x 8' (but it has a closet protruding into it taking up space)
This particular tub is a drop it tub. If you were planning to change it there are beautiful free standing tubs if space permits. Thanks, J Design Group, Contemporary Miami Interior Designers - Modern Interior Design Firm in Miami, Florida - Decorators - http://www.

The combination for space saving and low window like we have.
Putting the bath and the shower together may work really well in the space.
Chadbourne enclosed the shower and tub to save space. It’s covered in Milestone, an acrylic cement product. “It’s a troweled material like waterproof plaster,” she says. “We like it a lot because it’s seamless. There are no grout lines to worry about.”
