If using teak or ipe wood you won't have too much of a problem - these woods don't collect soap etc like tile or other materials
into the floor (which i've never seen). you may have issues underneath the wood but that would be true of any elevated floor. Bottom line is that it is
putting these in but i am worried about mold in there. Can you treat the wood with bleach or would it ruin it?
