How can I build storage in my knee space?
I would like to convert my vanity knee space into cabinets or a pullout hamper. Can you tell me how to build something like that?
I have a similar design for my master bath remodel but will be limited on space for sconces due to mirror size. The bases on these appear to be narrower than most I've seen. Thanks.
Are the vanities custom made? I am looking for a cabinet with drawers measuring 42 or 44 inches to fit freestanding in a 60 inch space. The ones I've seen on the net don't have a choice of tops, all I want is white with black or white or carrara marble top to complement beadboard walls
However, I'd look at the space and sketch something to to scale and then show it to a carpenter. He'd probably have some ideas and then you could work together to add drawer/shelves/hamper as you wish. Or you could measure the space and try to find a cabinet to fit. My storage space was designed by me to

Great use of space, nice and airy despite confines
“Before the remodel the house was a duplex. But with a baby on the way and a need for more space, the couple who own the home asked us to make it into one house,” Urrutia says. Using parts of spaces once occupied by a kitchen and living room, the architect carved out a new master bath and closet.“There’s

Can you tell me the dimensions of this shower? I have a massive bathroom with a lot of waisted space and i am looking to remodel and enlarge the shower
Great shower space + soaking tub.
glass to ceiling possibility? Very neat look...however you loose the continuity of the ceiling thus making the space look smaller.
Shower design might work well with our space constraints, especially if we add a tub.
shape of shower stall, good use of space
Now thats a nice shower. Plenty of space and the shelves are a great touch
I love this bathroom and feel like something creative like this could work well on the lower level of our space (master bedroom)
sink and toilet could be added to complete wet room in a small space

aren't confined to just living spaces, either. Mackie points to the growing demand for vessel tubs in bathrooms. "Who needs ugly tile decking around a drop-in tub when you can have a gorgeous compact vessel tub with air bath and chromatherapy features? This trend saves space while looking supersexy," she
"the idea was really to place the soaking tub in an environment under the skylight, and have it share the area with the shower instead of dedicating space to each of them. It made more sense to allow the shower water to hit the tub and be part of an integrated area."Glass mosaic tile "was used throughout

The shelves are framed as part of the tub deck, and finished in the same gorgeous tile as the the tub deck and floor. Besides providing the ideal space for towels, they create a wonderful break between the tub and walk-in shower. Photo by Bob Greenspan
I am about to do this in my master bath as I think it is such a great use of the space and a wonderful design element. I have 56" (w) x 22" (h) and allotted 10" off the deck to the first shelf, making that shelf just 1" and then another

I have a small space to work with, and these seem like the scale might work. Thanks.
