find a square or round plate to place between the wall and the faucet. Ultimately we decide on a silicon caulking with some of the backsplash grout color mixed in. It is basically a filler, and flexible to some degree, but the faucet is mounted to the wall with slightly longer screws to make up for the

The stone is a blue marble, I can't remember the name. The walls are a 12 x 12 and the floors are 2 x 2.
