The San Marino House is the most viewed project in our carpentry portfolio. It's got everything you could wish for. A floor to ceiling lacquer wall unit with custom cabinetry lets you stash your things with style. Floating glass shelves carry fine liquor bottles for the classy antique mirror-backed bar. Speaking about bars, the solid wood white oak slat bar and its matching back bar give the pool house a real vacation vibe. Who wouldn't want to live here??

This Master Suite continues to merge outside and inside: honed granite counter top, rustic alder shaker cabinets, and floor to ceiling tile (in 4 different widths) that look like wood, vaulted ceiling with stained wood beam at the peak, faucets that mimic an old well pump. Dark slate tile on the heated floors has an additional stained coat on the grout to appear like a continuous slab of stone. Utilizing a hidden linear floor drain allows the floor tile to visually continue into the shower area . The large shower has niches concealed in half walls to keep toiletries out of sight.

When our client wanted the design of their master bath to honor their Japanese heritage and emulate a Japanese bathing experience, they turned to us. They had very specific needs and ideas they needed help with — including blending Japanese design elements with their traditional Northwest-style home. The shining jewel of the project? This Master Bathroom was based in a neutral Moca Cream limestone on the floor and is carried through as smaller 2”x 2” tiles in the shower floor. The shower walls of Jacana Crochet limestone contrasts in color while complimenting in texture the mirror wall material of the sink area. The Sheer Blaze high relief limestone embellishes a vanity of African Mahogany and polished Magic Brown marble counters. This provided movement and texture to the space, which is accented with side linear columns of Lycian white limestone tiles.

The 1790 Garvin-Weeks Farmstead is a beautiful farmhouse with Georgian and Victorian period rooms as well as a craftsman style addition from the early 1900s. The original house was from the late 18th century, and the barn structure shortly after that. The client desired architectural styles for her new master suite, revamped kitchen, and family room, that paid close attention to the individual eras of the home. The master suite uses antique furniture from the Georgian era, and the floral wallpaper uses stencils from an original vintage piece. The kitchen and family room are classic farmhouse style, and even use timbers and rafters from the original barn structure. The expansive kitchen island uses reclaimed wood, as does the dining table. The custom cabinetry, milk paint, hand-painted tiles, soapstone sink, and marble baking top are other important elements to the space. The historic home now shines. Eric Roth

This beautiful home boasted fine architectural elements such as arched entryways and soaring ceilings but the master bathroom was dark and showing it’s age of nearly 30 years. This family wanted an elegant space that felt like the master bathroom but that their teenage daughters could still use without fear of ruining anything. The neutral color palette features both warm and cool elements giving the space dimension without being overpowering. The free standing bathtub creates space while the addition of the tall vanity cabinet means everything has a home in this clean and elegant space.
