lighting was utilized throughout the main living areas to provide a bright wash of indirect illumination and to separate programmatic spaces visually without the use of physical light consuming partitions. Custom floor to ceiling Ash wood veneered doors accentuate the height of doorways and blur room
into a single unified space. StudioLAB was challenged with the task of converting the existing arrangement into a large open three bedroom residence. The previous configuration of bedrooms along the Southern window wall resulted in very little sunlight reaching the public spaces. Breaking the norm of
light infiltration. A concrete office cube was designed with the supplementary space which features walnut flooring wrapping up the walls and ceiling. Two large sliding Starphire acid-etched glass doors close the space off to create privacy when screening a movie. High gloss white lacquer millwork

What lighting did you use over the mirror? I can only see a glimpse of it.
It was a San Francisco contractor. We used a porcelain sink top from here: http://www.thomas-crapper.com/productrange.asp with a custom painted wood base cabinet.
Claw foot tub and good use of a small space
Use of black and white subway tile
Could work with the space. Has a shower curtain rod that is self-supporting.

en-suite bathroom
what is the material used to cover the radiator on top and the metal?
unit is made from MDF with an inset of pierced hardboard for the radiator cover. The counter surface is just that, a laminated counter top like you use for kitchen work tops. In this instance there is no metal but it is possible to buy pierced brass sheet which is more costly and gives a very traditional
The length of the bench - very useful
Covering could be used in vanity doors
Great idea with smaller bathroom counter top to say enough space and open it up more

I have an office/ toy room space next to the bathroom that I could incorporate for space. What are the dimensions of this bathroom?
what color paint was used for the wall?
Can you tell me what color and the type of material used for the counter top? Also wondering what tile was used on the floor?
In this bathroom we used a gray toned grout on the main bathroom floor and a lighter gray in the shower.
did you use a white or off-white grout?
This vanity was made and installed from a custom cabinetry maker that we use on all of our new homes and remodels.
Love everything about this relaxing bath - use of space, color and accessories.

Shower heads/ equipment? They seem useful but cost effective? What brand and model?
Hi- I think it is 2'-0" or 2'-2" wide which is the typical size we use. I haven't found this to be awkward or too narrow at all (and this happens to be my bathroom which I use everyday)
Thanks for the room dimensions. How deep is the actual shower. Trying to see if we can do dual heads in a small space. Thanks!!!
Hi- it isn't a 'brand-name'- it is custom fit to the bathroom. We used Joy Nac, Inc. But there are a lot of companies who will come out and measure for a shower door and then fabricate one, and come back to install it

Good use of space for shelves
Sink with wall mounted faucets...but reminded by soap pump why that back lip of counter can be useful, though I think I'd prefer to save those inches.
Interesting use of floating timber shelves & white warmed by timber
through your morning routine today, and put all of the products you use daily together in an easily accessed spot. If you choose to put your everyday products on the sink top, use a tray or basket to keep everything together.Items you use less frequently can go in the medicine cabinet or under the sink

Can you tell me the brand and size of sink used? Thx
Simple but effective use of narrow space
layout... Entrance.. long counter, then toilet ... space for storage (future laundry area) nice shower area
did lengthen it, relocating the shower and adding another sink. She installed a longer window and used a fixed steel panel to block off the toilet. The porcelain floor, which mimics limestone, is used throughout the house.

The sink cabinet is 21" deep and the left cabient is 12" deep. It was a space consideration based on a needed walkway width.
Yes, I use it all the time. It is very reasonably priced too!
It feels good on your feet--like a massage! We used epoxy grout so it is well sealed and will clean well.
minimal use of tile in the splash board above the sink; like floor big tile; good use of space for second bathroom
Like the color of tile. Extra cabinet space without all of the room.
