The Beaverbrook Master Bath
I like the design but the shower door clips or hinges seem to be distracting
for answering some of our questions Archia. It is a popular design!
Looks like it could have been intended as a design element, as they match all the other hardware in the room.
thanks for your help - beautiful design

Yes, I've worked with Kelly at Cabachon in La Jolla. Very knowledgable and great design abilities.
i like the little herringbone travertine floor design
Like herringbone floor tile w/subway wall tile - light color, clean, simple design. Would prefer with less wall tile,
This mosaic floor is laid as a chevron design. I'm not sure I like it as much.

la jolla muirlands home
Just purchased 6x24 Gunstock wood looking porcelin tiles for my open floor plan. I have radiant heat under 3/4" subfloor. Do I need that orange sub backing under tile or can I lay the tile right on top of subfloor? Where's the best place to start herringbone design?
It's hard to say - ti could be a reclaimed wood or the stain just makes it look that way. Hopefully the designer can reply more specifically.

Lake Minnetonka Children's Bathroom Remodel
Designed by Interior Designer Elizabeth Bland The owners of this home near Lake Minnetonka had not one, but two very dated baths. Because the spaces were adjacent to each other and shared a plumbing wall, a remodel of both was in order. In the dark kids bath (which was also used for guests), a window
homeowner loved the seaside vibe of the design concept, which was based on the homes proximity to the lake. Tile that mimics wood was selected for the floor along with a classic subway and glass & stone mosaic accent in the shower. A custom vanity was designed and topped with a recycled glass countertop
countertop that complements the rest of the color palette. Wood wainscoting, blue wall paint, and nautical accessories finished off the design concept. Although the completed bath is still blue, it is bright, updated and the clients (and kids) love it!
