Who makes this tile and what do they call it?
see for yourself. A lot of bathrooms have marble.
marble does need more care. but to be totally practical you need to use a specialist marble sealer. the same goes for most natural stones - eg limestone. but there are plenty of decent marble 'looking' tiles out there.
CARRARA POLISHED MARBLE A connoisseur's Marble. Carrara's soft grey shades have been used for centuries to create an ageless elegance. Not sure where you are located to make a sensible supplier recommendation. but this is a classic/timeless tile material. so any decent specialist should be able to help

charcoal wall tile! Who is the manufacturer please?
The tiles are 3"x 9" . One can acheive a more modern look when you tile in a "grid" rather that "brick" pattern. It really depends on the context. Here we decided the charcoal tiles would be too busy in a bricklay given the marble in the shower

I just need an advice. Is it a problem to use marble in the bathroom? I am planning to reno
would it look to tile the bathroom walls and leave the surround up. The shower surround is 1/2" thick so tile would butt right up to it. There is a 9 1/2" gap between the ceiling and the top of the surround in all three sides. Any ideas. Pic would help also.

love to utilize all marble (carrara or satuarietto). But the samples I brought home seem to be extremely porous( soaks water in minutes). Is this normal or I should be searching a different vendor?
