What type of trim and crown molding was used on the windows?
What is the width and height of each window, and what are the dimensions of the divider inserts? Thanks so much!
I'd like to know the dimensions of these beautiful windows and ceiling height. Thanks so much!
several years ago and no longer have all the window specifications. The floor tiles are 18"x18" so I would estimate that the windows are about the same width. The windows are set at an 8' header height so I would guess the height to be +/- 5'6". The windows bars are going to be spaced whatever dimensions
dimensions are typically found in Prairie Style windows. I would say the smallest "box" in the corners of the windows is 4"x4". Hope this helps. Gary Dresser Dresser Homes

I have a stained glass that I would like to mount on a wall (we have no available window that it will fit). How did you backlight the stained glass in this picture? Did you use LED light's? Did you use plexiglass to diffuse the light
Yes - this is an actual window, in a fixed sash, back lit with natural daylight; there is a glass enclosed porch on the other side so it is protected from the elements.
Is it an actual window? I am thinking about a solution like this for a windowless breakfast
a closet so I have some leeway for managing the tube), and then diffuse it like that through a stained glass "window". Is that what you did or is it just stained glass on an outdoor window?
Just to be clear, the stain glass window in our bathroom photograph above is natural lighting. It is NOT backlit with this product being promoted by Translucent Creations Ltd, and we do not have any experience with their product and do not endorse or recommend it or them in any way. It is inappropriate

Nice reading room by the window
I'd never really considered a window seat in the bathroom, but I'm sold! I'm a talker (can you tell?) and I would love nothing more than to cop a squat and chit chat (read: harass) my
shaving or brushing his teeth. Of course, having a spot to toss a towel or simply slow down for a second in the morning and sip a little coffee by the window wouldn't be half bad.

damage to the window in the shower?
I'd love to have this feature in our bathroom but am being told that we'll need to put glass over it or something else to protect the window?!?
We are considering a reno that would result in a tub/shower with a large window in it. I love
to wrap all sides of the window opening (head, sill, and jambs). The frame here is anodized aluminum, which can get wet, and the glass is sealed well, so water will not get into the joints. You just can't have any wood exposed around the window.
you could frost the window 1/2 way up.... there are
my bathroom window ( condo in DC ) ..was a sliding mirror that i can pull across window when privacy is wanted ( my mother comes to visit) .. just a nice track in ceiling and a mirror mounted on wet-proof backing w/ stainless trim.... so no harder to keep clean then the regular window or shower glass

what type of frame did you use to achieve the look of the window over the bath? Is it frameless?
I like the window- does it need a sill or does not having one make it cooler?

The same can be said about this strategically placed window that exists only to frame a view of the trees for someone taking a bath.More: Ribbon Windows: Openness, Privacy and Cool Modern Design
I'm all for windows in the bathroom. There's really nothing like having a natural light-flooded
light-flooded bathroom to make you feel like you're king or queen of the world. They may present an insulation/moisture-leaking issue, but a picture window is a wonderful feature.

In working out the floor plan, they chose to place their bathrooms and mudroom in the center of the house and therefore without windows, a choice they
