incredibly green home of chevy chase
favorite uses of wood and paint together is to keep the window sash and doors natural and paint the millwork. In my own home have Brazilian cherry floors, natural fir doors, windows,fireplace surround and cabinets. All of the wainscot, baseboard, window trim and door trim are painted.I like the hierarchy

color did you choose in your home, for example the fireplace facade looks similar in stain color as the window sash stain. Also like how you mirrored the trim design to the exterior for the windows!
