Just be sure the opening provides enough room for a person to access the space - no less than a doorway. This bathroom is tiled to five (ish) feet so we didn't have the worry about overspray. If

Curious about the beautiful large floral tiles.
Never had problems with in-wall carriers and Duravit function, per se. Our house is about 8 yo - we have 5 toilets, 4 are Duravits, 1 Kohler (hatbox). although aesthetic-wise, not too impressed with Duravit surfaces - dulled easy, cracked

Thank you for the close up! I'm facing the same situation that there is no matching bullnose to the 12x24 tile I want for shower wall. I have concern about using the finished edge on shower niche. Is the edge of the tile water proved? Will the water penetrate into the tile from the edge?

reclaimed French limestone from Exquisite Surfaces with terra-cotta tile cabochons interspersed. I don't have the specs now but the main tiles are about 9x18 with a 3" cabochon.
It's about 3" overall at back (vertical portion 2.25" and overlapping top 3/4")
disappear and or darken and add character with the sealing.. Which , the weathered spotting worried me at first even though I loved the wood anyway. About to get my stairwell sealed and used 2 small pieces of beam as top Newell post and bottom and will post pics of this when done as well for you. This
