least slightly contrast the stones with the grout so that the individual stones stand out and "pop". Making everything blend perfectly kind of eliminates the point of using such a unique, natural surface!

the feedback - we were looking at an off white which is slightly lighter and a slightly tan color which is darker...but I had not thought to wet the stones!! Clearly matchy matchy is not a good idea with the pebble tile and grout.
high back tub and stone floor
This bathroom combines wood and stone tile by creating a square to contain the splash zone. The wood color matches the exterior of the tub making it feel visually connected.

how to get old tub out, cast ?
What is the name of the stone used on the counter tops?
The floor tile appears to be two types? Previous answer just said Kult white stone. Also there have been two answers given for the grout, 1/8 inch and 1/16 inch. Which is it? Thanks!
It is only one kind of tile, Kult White Stone. These tiles are variegated and range from light cream to light medium brown. The grout spacing is 1/16".
Most times we take them out in pieces. Last large cast we carried out needed 4 men. Not boys. Men. Lucky for me I just watched... LOL
cast tubs come out with a few strong men or in pieces with a sledge hammer
They are from Olympia Tile International. Natural stones do have intrinsic variations in colour and pattern from batch to batch because they are cut from different blocks belonging to different parts of quarries

Is floor tile or natural stone... Brand? Name?
What flooring is this and what is the best way to clean and maintain natural stone
possible to do natural stone. The steam unit has to be sized up for the absorption factor of natural stone, and there is more maintenance with natural stone. And, yes, you can be successful at mixing stone and ceramic. We used a ceramic tile on the walls of the shower and a stone mosaic floor on the
on usage and cleaning of the area. It is important to use proper stone care cleaners where you have marble and not the standard grocery store shower cleaners. There are different brands of stone sealers and they usually offer a stone cleaner as well. As for the asthma issue, I am not sure. You may

maintenance than the natural stone. The Era series comes in a polished, matte (unpolished) and structured finish. The matte provides plenty of slip co-efficiency for Universal Design and the structured finish would be excellent for the shower area. Overall, the natural stone is very nice and the uneven

Can you tell me who makes the tub? Is it acrylic or cast iron?
I would like to know about the tub also. It looks deep, which is what I want. I would like to know dimensions also make/model and is it cast iron?
Hi Justine - what kind of tile/stone is in the shower? Thanks!
better coloration options in my opinion over granite. It was a grey marble with some green and a few pink undertones. Try your local marble and granite stone supplier and look at what slabs they have to offer. Very often they can get in additional slabs for you if you know what you want. Hope that helps.

Thanks. The glass tile is the Glacier line from Stone Source but we've used similar tile from other sources. The floor stone outside the shower is call Baltimore and is also from Stone Source. The stone tile inside the shower is also Baltimore but is in a scarpaletto (scraped)
with 3/8" thick but the 1/2" is nicer. "Low iron" glass is also more expensive than typical float glass because it goesn't have the slightly green/blue cast that iron content gives to normal glass. A good source for hardware is CR Laurence. Hope this helps.
Depending on the supplier and manufacturer the cost can range from $14 - $30 psf. They're not inexpensive but if used within a space like a shower the overall cost is worth it.

The floor was done through a showroom that closed its doors in secondary markets. We specified custom stones for this installation. Do you have a current catalogue?
Great to know. When I did the powder room floor through Waterworks, this was custom. I specified all of the individual stones and looked at various combinations in strike-offs. Not off-the-shelf.
Imagine the mirror is the hood here and vanity sink is the range. The shape I have for your splash is similar to this.
A stone top and backsplash can be added to a piece to give it a more traditional bathroom feel.

Did you use a regular semigloss or some particular type of paint that works well on cast iron? thanks!
I love the floor and wall tile choices for this bathroom. I have been able to find all tiles aside from the thin border tiles. Do you recall the stone used? How about the size (ie 1x6)? Do you know maker or were they special
