Trash or Treasure
I have an old oak desk that I could use but it is 33 inches deep. That seems too deep.
It is an old oak desk used as a vanity. The counter top is varnished oak. The sink is from Kohler.
use an old desk as a vanity.
Old desk turned into a sink. Interesting.
Interesting...an old tanker desk turned into a vanity. Kind of cool and masculine. Very industrial looking which is a popular look. I don't see this in dad's house
We have an old dresser we could use in the bathroom.
Old wooden desk turned sink- love
like the use of the old desk
This truly inventive vanity is created from an old desk. The drawers make perfect storage for toiletries and necessities.
An old office desk transformed into a vanity is a genius touch. The drawers provide extra storage for toiletries.

The disparity in the texture of the windowpanes combined with the single stained glass pane creates a very eye-catching effect.

Gray Wooden Mirror: The mirror is vintage. We found it at a flea market. The best advice is to keep a look out for an old frame and paint it a warm grey like the one in the picture. You may want to then add a light stain / glaze to the painted frame to add a bit more patina

What kind of paint was used on the old door? Chalkboard spray paint?
It is custom, as mentioned above. That is the beauty of it. They had an old door and painted it with chalkboard paint. Then you can write whatever you like on it. Great idea and great quote of Dr. Seuss.
paint you can get at Lowe's or Home Depot. We didn't even prime, because we wanted the age of the door to show through. The door is about 80 years old. It was in the garage of the homeowner's house.
Old door with chalkboard paint. Interesting idea
chalk board old doors downstairs - do it in a cool color - put in a location for people to write their ideas down (ie bathroom)

old wood vanity, yes, yes, yes!!!
portion of the base. Unless it’s a true antique, there is no need to fear altering an aged piece — that’s the beauty, and the enjoyment, of upcycling old furniture.
The owner of this bathroom was lucky enough to find a fantastic old pine buffet that was converted to a vanity. The patina and history of this piece make it so much more engaging than something new and mass produced,

of water which sloped right into the foundation and over time took its toll. We dealt with the water flow, but didn't change the second floor of the old cape.
