I have an old oak desk that I could use but it is 33 inches deep. That seems too deep.
It is an old oak desk used as a vanity. The counter top is varnished oak. The sink is from Kohler.

Gray Wooden Mirror: The mirror is vintage. We found it at a flea market. The best advice is to keep a look out for an old frame and paint it a warm grey like the one in the picture. You may want to then add a light stain / glaze to the painted frame to add a bit more patina

What kind of paint was used on the old door? Chalkboard spray paint?
It is custom, as mentioned above. That is the beauty of it. They had an old door and painted it with chalkboard paint. Then you can write whatever you like on it. Great idea and great quote of Dr. Seuss.
paint you can get at Lowe's or Home Depot. We didn't even prime, because we wanted the age of the door to show through. The door is about 80 years old. It was in the garage of the homeowner's house.
