Hi, Thanks for your question about our Lake Forest Park project. I designed the cherry cabinet door panels. The textural pattern was custom milled with a CNC milling machine.
from the attached photo, the shower floor is the same limestone that we used for the floor of the main bath area. The walls are are a variegated pattern of glazed tile from Ann Sacks. --Nils Finne, AIA

What color and brand of wood is the floor?
I still love this layout - the openness and visual as you look into the bathroom, the wood floor pattern in hall (but not color of wood), the electric vanities and mirrors, the chandelier, the light bright color scheme and rug (or tile rug) to break it up.
Everything!!! Chandelier, wood floors, white vanity

Can you create this wood distressed concrete on the floor?
Is this a one piece wood mold or did you do it in different stages?
I suppose you could use this pattern on the floor using wood boards to create the pattern when the concrete is still wet but it would be fairly rough and may be difficult to execute. You would want to check with
The wall is actually a structural concrete retaining wall where the form boards (wood) were intentionally kept a 1/4"- 1/2" apart to allow for some of the concrete to "ooze" out and create the linear pattern. The concrete contractor didn't want to do it as it was more work having to hand tamp during
your renovating our tiles are a great option. They are a concrete tile, it comes in 6" x 8 foot lengths and each tile is unique, there is no repeat pattern of any kind. With our new “Board Form” tiles, you can create the authentic look on any existing surface such as feature walls, fireplaces, backsplash
