Have cottage with similar roof line. Front was flat roof, we added the angle to cover the flat
and door company, which is now owned by Andersen. The type of windows in the upper level are awning windows. The rest of the windows are cottage style double hungs.

I am looking for an approx. 2600 sq. ft. house with 35x55 footprint. I love the style of this home.
This shingled Philadelphia-area house shows how varied Craftsman style can be. The prominent front and side gables give it tremendous presence, and the unique hipped porch roof holds a small balcony. Notice the variation of the columns compared to the previous houses shown. The pier has been eliminated
window at the gable peak indicates a third-floor attic space. Also notice that this elevation is symmetrical, as opposed to the previous examples. Few styles function well in both symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations.

Could someone identify this style of wall design and how it's achieved? Is this horizontal planking and what type of wood is used?
of the budget constraints. It's a 12" thick retail wall with cutout openings of various sizes. I think he's concerned about getting everything to line up perfectly, wrapping the corner and the backside. Breaking it up with trim makes it a little easier on him. We'll see! Thanks!
It is shiplap, I believe each plank is roughly 6" in height. We had them do a 1/8" (approx) straight edge route so that the lines stayed nice and clean
