Spring Lake-Corner Dining Nook
Hi there. I'm working on a blog for WoodIQ.com covering small kitchen and bath design. One of the points I'm trying to illustrate is utilization of the corners. I like what was done here with the corner seating
The banquette was custom designed to add seating and storage to the eating area of this very small kitchen. The fabrics are the same indoor-outdoor pencil stripe in 3 colorways.
This is Radiation because the design elements are balanced and repeated around a centerpiece. The chairs and the vase of flowers radiate off the circular table.

checked the link provided above, and while much of the info was good, I have a different take on a couple of important points. (I'm a professional interior horticulturist, and I've taken care of hundreds of fiddle leaf figs, in all kinds of light.) It's not best to keep it "evenly moist," especially
Love the idea of an old trunk coffee table.
"I found these midcentury wicker chairs online and rooted them to the present with textiles," says Jackson. The designer also framed sea sponges and coral pieces in driftwood frames. Chairs: One Kings Lane

Love the beam! How would I achieve the same look with my unfinished interior pine kitchen beam? Thx!

My cabinets are close to this (Mediterranean, Sherwin Wms). I am having huge trouble picking colors for the LR in the open-design. I've tried plum, gold, more Caribbean

superwhite white. So put it everywhere. Or almost everywhere. As San Francisco designer Chloe Warner says, "The only place I would never do bright white is on a ceiling. It just looks like someone forgot to paint."
The curtains: the idea of using rope as a method of hanging them is amazing! Love it!!!!

Did anyone respond anywhere on this blog about the exact paint used on the cabinets...I would love to know the manufacturer and color used too!
I am sorry to say, but I do not know of any stock kitchen cabinet companies who make similar cabinetry. It is a pretty traditional shaker design cabinet with a square recessed panel, I am sure there are actually many who do. Try Kraftmaid.
I like the idea of blue/white/grey palette. I like these cabinets, but not in blue - probably white?
