a contractor or other professional. The flagstone and moss can be within a sitting area and (again) if your yard is large, you may want to plant native plants that will grow well in your environment and need little to no maintenance in the surrounding area. Good luck!
Espaliered fruit trees are a possibility. I also like the idea of large planted pots and integrating paving with lawn for a small seating area.

Don’t be afraid to fill itThis cosy verandah is at capacity with couches, ottomans, coffee table and pot plants, but still manages to feel spacious. Sticking to two or three colours will unite the space and prevent your verandah from feeling too crowded, no matter how limited the space.

Placing a low fence or wall back a few feet from the edge of the sidewalk allows room for planting, and plants provide visual interest for pedestrians. In addition to cheerful daisies like these, velvety plants such as lamb’s ear (Stachys byzantina) would work well.

in a warm pallet of colors maximizing the use of the side property and views of the San Francisco Bay. Low maintenance and drought & deer tolerant planting provide a gracious transition between the built environment and the adjoining openlands. Michele Lee Wilson Photography
We love this! What is planted along the right edge of the stones? Thank you.
Is that moss planted between the stones? It looks amazing!

Architecture in order to maintain a smooth continuity between the structures and the environment. The design is simple, clean, and relies heavily on native plants.

Yep! Enough potting soil to cover the plants roots and then a layer of white sand :)

Are the plants living or artificial. How to do???
Beautiful room. However, the plant in the left corner appears to be growing out of the vase on the table. Maybe change the photo angle. :)
I made this succulent arrangement and used fake plants. No one can tell the difference, just be sure and buy high quality so the plants look real.
