this is the tone for the beam work I am thinking of. Almost like a weathered barn board. But, new. Not rough. Aged. Bring the tone over to the fireplace. and TV sliding doors.

Yes, we install the "oil rubbed bronze" plumbing fixtures often and they seem to do ok with the calcium. The finish is called a "living finish" which means the black rubs away slightly and starts to have a bronze undertone to it.

used here and good quality. Both will turn gray when left natural to weather.
We are building an oceanfront home on the jersey shore. We are planning on using white cedar shingles without any treatment. Would they grey and weather like the homes in Nantucket? Have you been happy with the bardobec shingles
White cedar shingles. I want them greying in weather like the ones in Nantucket.
cedar on the roof. As far as the sidewall, these shingles are untreated and do not have a "color". New shingles have a more yellow look, and as they weather they turn silver gray.
