I love this look for my bedroom. Is that bead board on the walls?
I think the grain cut and wood is called quarter sawn oak.

where can i get those beads
What an amazing room. I am a design professional and was wondering if you would consider sharing the source for your custom beads? Thank you.
your source for the beads? Amazing!
Where did you get them custom made? Did you buy the beads or did the company that customizes them
it's decorative and different, plus the beads remind me of my dad's dining room design

like this ceiling. could we do this style with different wood?
significantly lower height better than a spacious great room can. Scale is key. This cottage bedroom’s 8-foot ceiling has 5½-inch tongue and groove boards and 5-inch-deep beams that are integrated with the crown molding. The effect is a cozy one that’s punctuated by a fireplace.

What is the actual color of the bead board? thanks
Love the bead board wall as an accent wall.
Full bead board walls. Would an 8' sheet work with 9' ceilings if top/bottom trim is wide enough?

Lighten up. Yes, wood beams and siding can be lightened up. Create a clean and modern aesthetic with a lighter, monochromatic palette. Consider whitewashing or a light stain on beams and siding with pale walls.

Board and Batten panelling in bedroom gives casual elegance to the room. Rion Rizzo, Creative Sources Photography
How did you do the walls? Battens spaced evenly over drywall or wood?...if wood on walls, what was used? Thanks!
I would like to do a board and batten treatment for my daughters room and wanted to go about 2/3's of room up the wall and finish with a flat straight trim but i want to use the existing baseboards that have a more curved profile. not sure
too would rather have just a plain old board (even a 1x4) would make me happier than this clam shell crap I have glued to my sheet rock walls. Don't laugh too hard when I tell you that I am considering putting another board above the clam shell and using wood putty to fill it in to look like a wider
