How Did you secure the birch wood or are they freestanding?
Beautiful birch. The team behind this guest bedroom’s design took the wooden headboard to new heights with these custom pieces featuring an ornate display of birch branches. The headboards’ natural features track with the rest of the home’s mountain aesthetics.See more of this house

Love these floors! Did you have to sand them before finishing them?
We are in the process of putting plywood floors as finished floors in our house. We're unsure whether it's necessary to sand down the plywood before finishing the floors with polyurethane. Any advice? Will it make a big
We did not add polyurethane as a finish as it was not recommended in the lake environment. Now they are chipping. What is the best filler to use for the chips? Also the best floor paint as they need to be repainted....and then we will add a polyurethane finish this time. We love the look and feel
Ripped 4 x 8 sheets? Screwed? Finish?
Thanks! The sheets are 4’ x 8’ of 5-ply, 1/2” Baltic Birch. They are attached to the floor using 2-1/2" countersunk gold screws. We covered the screw holes with wood putty and then sanded so they appeared flush with the finish surface. Our final step was to add a few thin coats of Polyurethane
