makes for a more visually stimulating spaces. Here, we brought in the reclaimed wood as a rustic backdrop for the modern furnishings. We added the chocolate curtains to make it apear as if there was a window in the room and visually frame out the space. The art work is by a good friend of mine, Todd

Garden House
Can you tell me the type of wood flooring and finish? Thanks!
I believe all the flooring in the house was reclaimed from buildings in France. I don't know how it was finished after its installation here, but I would assume polyurathane?
veneer plaster is applied, it can be left alone or apply a colored wax if a more dramatic look is wanted. This works great for a matte finish; if a high gloss finish is wanted than it's better to stay with true Venetian plaster. We hope this helped! January 21, 2013 at 5:56am Like Julie LandrumAlso-in
synthetic bits instead of real marble which drives the price up. I have used it in my home and I love it. It is Matt finished unless you choose to burnish it or add wax for a high gloss finish. Oh-and one more thing-the brochure will tell you it only comes in certain colors but it isn't true-you can choose
