in an entry or behind a sofa. It can also work as a coffee table, which is a bonus if you have a small space.

make the door the same sizes as the panel?
I agree that would be a nice detail, but maybe the client didnt want to spend the money to do that. Maybe the designer who posted this only made cosmetic changes and the door was an original detail. Maybe the other side of the door has another more important detail which
changing the door height. Maybe there is a utility soffit in the other room. Maybe this room has another room below it, so the flitch plate would have to span a huge distance to work, making it impossible or impractical. The list goes on... ;o)

The curtains for a door less entry to the bathroom
Curtains aren't just for windows! Use them as a covering to a doorless bathroom door in a master bedroom.

6. Rethink entries, closets and doors. If you have unattractive sliding closet doors or an awkwardly tight entryway, consider
replacing the doors with curtains. They take up less space, add softness and provide another opportunity to layer in color and texture. It's a relatively simple change to undertake, and it can make a huge difference in the feel of the room.

is the door pull from on the pocket door?
Who manufactures this pocket door? Thank you!
Beautiful detail well executed. I assume this was new construction? Wondering if the same detail could be successfully achieved in a renovation if existing drywall at a door frame was cut back to a stud ... a new door frame was installed (because one wanted taller doors)
is the door / trim setup ?
What kind of door is this ? And what hardware was used ? Also, what did to use for the trim/casing ? Thanks...
How did you attach the pocket door handle and hide the screws?
between the door trim and the wallboard to control the reveal? Is this a piece of aluminum "U" channel or "J" channel set between the wallboard and trim with the mud running up to it on the wallboard side?
