sfnest says: Beautiful. And so refreshing to see Kenmore appliances, Ikea kitchen cabinets, and tile bought at places accessible to those of us without enormous budgets, in such a great space.

there is room for the family to remove shoes, hang up coats, and drop their stuff. The focal point of the home is the flowing living/dining/family/kitchen/terrace area. The living room may be separated via a large rolling door. Pocketing, sliding glass doors open the family and dining area to the terrace

Love the color. I have an open concept family and kitchen area that has been natural color for years. Tired of it now and need color. The open concept has low lights. Do you recommend this color or watery
Hello, Without seeing the spaces I would suggest trying Tidewater in the kitchen only (assuming there are good start/stop points to family room). It may end up that just painting your kitchen will be all you need to give you the shot of color you are looking for. Blue greens/sea glass
complimenting sand color like SW6106 Kilim Beige to compliment your "water color" in the kitchen. Add some sea glass colored accessories and throw pillows to the family room to carry the color story from the kitchen... and you have the look. Best of luck. Send pictures when you are done! All my best

"scrubbable" which is needed in a kitchen. Satin is the best wall finish for a kitchen because it is washable and semi-gloss is too harsh of a glare for walls (IMO). There is a flat enamel that claims to be washable, and you could also try an exterior flat in a kitchen, if you're needing a flat finish
I would like your opionion on paint finishes as well. I'm painting Kitchen and living areas and plan on using Satin becuase of the washability. We are planning on painting the ceilings the same color of the walls with white
undesirable imperfections because the washable sheens show every flaw. If your walls are in great shape, I would definitely choose satin for the kitchen walls (with either high gloss or semi-gloss for painted trim).
