Great use of "half windows". Still allows lots of light but in a second story room it helps with privacy from the street.

find similar. Look like black-out for privacy. This is what I need.
Does the shade provide full privacy at night?
roller shades throughout a house I am building. I am trying to figure what options (other than complete blackout) can provide the needed privacy day and night for a bedroom, as well as master closet with a large, street facing window.
There are so many fabric options now for roller shades. Many of which are not full blackout but still provide privacy at night. We have the full Coulisse line which has many clean, modern options as well as some fun patterns and really beautiful colors.
Roller shades that can be made out of any material that both allows light in during that day and still provide privacy at night.

these? I have a space for pocket doors between the master bath and toilet area, and the toilet area and laundry room. Frosted glass would allow privacy for the toilet and light from the bath and laundry room. In our mid-century/contemporary home, a wood door with a frosted insert brings the style
privacy door that doesn't block light
Randolph used a translucent glass door to "let in the light and create less of a barrier." The frosting provides some privacy; total privacy was not really needed because the buyers were empty nesters. Thanks so much to Hugh for sharing this beautiful home with us today! See more
Opaque glazing is a good way to lighten a dark hallway or landing without sacrificing privacy in a bedroom or bath. If you have an existing solid wood-paneled door, consider replacing one or more of the panels with frosted glass.

desk is still accessible plus provides a privacy for murphy bed. Genius!
murphy bed & door offers privacy
A panel swings and the bed drops to turn the open living space into a bedroom. The panel is a super idea, for it creates a sense of privacy and cuts down on sunlight from the windows.See more inspiring Murphy beds

Image screen for windows for privacy, shoji.com
Credit: Niki Papadopoulos - It actually isn't a screen. It looks like it has scrim roll down shades for privacy and diffused light, but the super cool thing that looks like branches, is actually a product from Vitra called Algue. It comes is pieces and you can
counterintuitive to accessorize a window by hanging a large piece of art directly in front of it, but it works in a bedroom if you’re vying for extra privacy. Instead of relying only on the sheer curtain, this assemblage of interconnected Vitra Algues gives the whole room texture and makes the windows feel

Many beds and the privacy and simple ness
In this coastal weekend home, bunk beds visually delight with color punches and nautical stripes while giving each guest some privacy from both the outside world and others in the room. Because sometimes, even while on vacation with our loved ones, we need a little me time.
