ceiling heights and the wood, but I really like how the lights seem to 'match' the pot lights in ceiling height...our next house has a similar predicament without the wood of course, so installing lights like these would be really cool!

The best way to measure is to sit on your bed and determine your "eye level". You want the bottom of the shade to be higher than your reclined, reading position. Hope this helps. Kingsley Knauss, ASID

They are factory lights form Restoration Hardware..pretty sure they are still available. We built the wood accent wall just to mount the lights too and hide the cords....here, see for yourself.... ...
