very best way. The stained glass behind her bed makes such a statement.
"I used the stained glass as a 'headboard' "
I'm not sure if those are windows with actual stained-glass in them, or
or if they are stained glass panels that are against the windows. But this look could definitely be created with stained glass panels or doors placed behind the bed. Very dramatic and beautiful. Are you using a salvaged or unique piece as a headboard in your bedroom? Which was your favorite in this

Is a bed like this comfortable when sitting up and leaning back against the iron bars?
It seems like it would be comfortable if you had enough pillows between your back and the bars, but wondering if anyone has experience to confirm this. Thanks!

Hi! Can you tell me the kind of wood used on the floors and also the stain color? Thanks! Beautiful!!
Actually, the wood is beech with a charcoal stain. The stair treads are oak with the same stain (beech would be too soft for stairs).
Its almost certainly a white oak with a darker stain coffee or jacobean stain. Its very beautiful.

Go with a colored stain to show the details in the wood. Who needs artwork in a room like this?
