paramount that you begin with perfectly level and square lines. If it is off by even 1/8th of an inch, the mirrors won't fit. Then comes the fun part. The columns were built to be 2 1/4" thick, the base and capital were 1 1/2" thick--all made out of 3/4" mdf. I counted how many frame pieces that I needed
land perfectly in the center of the frame to unsure perfect union of each side of the frame. I then routered each piece of frame on all 6 sides with a 1/4" chamfer bit to add depth to each piece and create the geometric design. If you don't router each piece then the frames just meld into each other and
