We all know how to paint, we just don't want to deal with the hassle of prep and clean up. But do you really want to pay someone to do it? Instead of taking on a whole room, start with one accent wall. It will take no time at all. I prefer not use the blue painters tape
Similar to the roll-down but more tailored, the tucked band is often achieved with an accent textile. If you've traveled and brought back a gorgeous piece of fabric you're not sure what to do with, consider making it part of your bedding scheme. not sure where they can be purchased - perhaps googling mirrored furniture will help you!
inexpensive to make, just a piece of board covered in foam and fabric stapled on top. A piece of moulding as a surround finishes the look. To achieve the buttoning, when you assemble the headboard, first glue the foam to the board, then screw small rings through the foam into the board, cover with the fabric
buttons to the rings. Voila, a gorgeous centre piece for your bedroom for very little cost. Plus you can match the fabric to your scheme.

where do i get bedding like this? Or did you have it custom made?
Where did you get the headboard? Is it mounted to the wall or frame? Thanks in advance - love the look of this.
where did you find the beautiful bedside tables? Brand?
They are both 1930's from a resale shop - one was in great enough shape to just polish while the other was painted. We also "dipped" the hardware in real silver from a metal shop here in Houston.
Best to you in your decorating!!

relegated to modern spaces. Traditional elements make this fan (a favorite, can you tell) stand out a bit without being distracting.
Forget the usual pair of matching lamps. A chandelier illuminates one side of this bedroom, adding life and energy to a rather plain space. It's a little bright for a
dimmer to calm down the scene at bedtime.
