However, you may consider moving your toddler into a full bed to lessen his chances of falling out; plus, he or she will surely grow into it. If you have kids sharing a room, bunk beds are a great space saver. Choose a set that you can break down into separate twin beds if they grow out of the style down the road.

What style will work best? The bed is often the focal point of the bedroom, so think about what kind of tone you want to set. Do you want a traditional, eclectic feel? Consider an antique wrought iron bed. Searching for a timeless look? Wooden or brass bed frames will do the trick. Want to create an escape reminiscent of a vacation getaway? Get cozy with a four-poster canopy bed.

Need a bed but short on space? Futons, sleeper sofas and Murphy beds are great solutions if you need to squeeze a bed into a cramped space. Live in a studio apartment? Either of these options will help you easily transition from living area by day to bedroom by night.
